The perfect last minute till midnight gift!

Made for the United States military in 1995 by Pine Bluff Arsenal, the M258 Decontamination Kit does exactly as advertised. Yeah, vague, I agree, but it’s intended for… decontamination, I guess. We’ll get back to that. Truth be told, the 90s really did feel like a fever dream where the D.O.D. was just throwing money at anyone with a solution for any problem that MIGHT exist, regardless of how unwieldy and strangely designed they ended up being. In this case, this shipment of Decon Kits was originally intended on purchase to be a cool plastic container, offering a secure form of holding onto small, miscellaneous bits of survival gear. We were pleasantly surprised to find this shipment contained a rare case of the Decon 1-2 packets coming in perfect and potentially usable condition (though we can’t advise their use in actual CBRN situations due to them being surplus).

Features

  • Several sets of number 1 plastic sealed decontamination powder pouches

  • Three sets of number 2 plastic decontamination powder pouches

  • Packets and case are waterproof

  • Sturdy by build to ensure protection of contents upon impacts or potential damage

Schematics

Height: 4 inches
