Soviet Individual Radiation Dosimeter

These likely originated in Poland although information is scarce. They contain an ampule that starts to turn from clear to various shades of red as it becomes irradiated. These dosimeters were quite advanced for the time as they could display a wide range of radiation values while being small enough to being carried in the pocket of a soldier. They would be brought back to whoever was in charge of the unit who would carry a colour wheel to compare them against.

They might still work, but we would never advise you put them to the test. Great piece for a collection or for the s.t.a.l.k.e.r or Metro fan in your life.
