US Navy H-4 Jet Pilots Helmet Painted Red
Who you callin’ pinhead??
In the 1950s, the US needed a new helmet for Jetfighter pilots. The H-2 was rapidly upgraded to the H-3, then further refined to the H-4. This helmet was meant to be worn with a liner that featured comms and earphones, though it is not present with this example.
This helmet was made by Gentex. This listing is for this exact helmet, we only have one. It is scratched, worn and used, but otherwise in very good shape. Helmets of this vintage usually have significant degradation of the interior, though this one is in very good shape (see photos for more detail)
