Canadian Forces Flameless Ration Heater

These flameless ration heaters are actually fairly uncommon to see enter the commercial market - but despite their rarity, they function the same. When a soldier in the Canadian Forces is issued rations, they are usually issued flameless ration heaters separately. They actually do not come within the contents on the IRP’s that they are issued which is a bizarre and archaic method of distribution that is not followed by any other military in the world. This has also lead to many a sad private eating a cold poutine ration in the rain in a hole in Wainwright on a training exercise.
