These stoves are small, lightweight, folding and durable. They were used by the West German Army for a reason. They fold down to the size of a wallet, meaning they can even be carried in your pocket. They use solid fuel cubes which are available here and are easy to clean after use. At just 88 grams, they are most likely one of the lightest portable stoves available on the market, making them perfect for backpacking, emergency kits or bugout bags.

As these are used and are 30 years old, some rust is to be expected or discolouration, but it is a pretty simple task to clean them up if desired. However since nothing is actually cooked directly on them, it doesn’t affect function.
