Canadian Forces Steel M1 Helmet w/ Woodland Cover

CA$125.00
sold out

The Canadian Army adopted the M1 Steel Pot Helmet in 1960, the exact same helmet produced and used by our American neighbors to the south. It was fielded until the mid 1990s where it was replaced by the PASGT and later the CG634. The CAF (Canadian Armed Forces) originally used US Mitchel helmet covers in the summer time, but by the mid 1980s, they replaced them with Woodland covers, it sure seems like the CAF liked to look at the US’s homework in those days.

The liner has a “3” inside. As far as we are aware, they are a one size fits all sort of deal. They can be adjusted a fair bit. This fit on Misty’s 58cm head easily and could be expanded to accomidate an even bigger head.

This helmet is in INCREDIBLE condition. It appears barely used.
