Belgian OD Angle-head Flashlight
GUMP! Get in that hole!
The iconic “AngleHead” design has been immortalized for good reason. They were used by most armed forces for the better part of 30 years and also were used prominently in industrial jobs and mines. They are all essentially the same and unless you read the text on them, they’re generally 1:1 copies of the US version.
They feature a clip on the rear to affix the light to a shirt pocket, belt or webbing. On the side is a slide toggle to turn the light on and off and even a small button you can use to send morse code messages. In the bottom of the light there is also a compartment with colored lenses so you can change what kind of light you cast. Most of these also feature an extra bulb in the bottom if yours burns out.
Uses 2x D-Cell Batteries (not included)
These lights are also notoriously easy to maintain, and can easily be assembled for repairs or cleaning.
