USN HGU-33/P Jet Fighter Pilot Helmet
The helmet Maverick WAS SUPPOSED TO BE USING
The HGU-33/P Helmet was designed to be lighter than its predecessor to accommodate for higher G-forces of the new Fighter Jets of the US Navy. It was used from the late 1970s into the early 1990s.
This helmet is missing all internals and the external add-ons but is in great shape and an excellent candidate for restoration.
