USMC 56L ILBE Rucksack Liner / Drybag
Keep your gear dry and keep it compact!
The USMC ILBE Liner is awesome. There. We said it. Seriously. We’re going to get a bit gushy here. Since the dawn of man, we have been carrying things on our backs. Limiting factors have always been bulk and weight. But what if we could do something to reduce these? Enter the ILBE Liner. Now, its name is the ILBE liner, but truly it is a drybag that also works as a compression sack. So what makes this drybag so special? Well, by keeping your gear dry it keeps it light. Nothing like packing up wet kit and “enjoying” your reward of carrying an extra 30% in poundage. Its second benefit is that it can compress, in our minds here at Misty Mountain Supply, this is it’s BIGGEST strength. By turning the valve on the front of the bag, you can squish the bag down and reduce the size of your kit significantly; then with a simple twist back, you’ve locked the air our and have a vacuum seal on your kit, with it nice and small. Due to it’s large (non compressed) size, you can fit your entire sleep system or the vast majority of your kit in the main pouch of your rucksack.
Features
Greatly reduces the bulk of your kit
Keeps it nice and dry
Incredibly easy to use
Size
56 Liters! Tons of room for your kit!
Condition
All drybags have been visually inspected for defects. These are used, might be a little salty or discoloured, but are in good working order.
Field Notes/Misty Supply Musings/Potential Uses/Trivia
The uses for these are endless, keeping your kit dry when doing trips on rafts, canoes, kayaks, compressing gear for backpack, organizing your gear when overlanding, you name it!
