These molle backed pouches are designed to hold a 1L canteen, or be used as a general purpose (GP) storage pouch. It can be secured with a flap and cinch to ensure no muck or dust can get into the pouch. You can also tuck the top flap into the pouch and run it open topped. Has two side pockets for water purification, your MRE coffee, a halloween sized bag of M&Ms or whatever you may desire that can fit!
