The USGI Sustainment Pouch is a crucial piece of gear military personnel, sustaining them and making sure they’re able to lug their MREs around. It is a modular, MOLLE-compatible pouch that is designed to hold essential sustainment items required for extended periods of military operations. Generally, the pouch is used in pairs attached to the back of a tactical vest or either side of a MOLLE load-bearing pack, providing quick and easy access to sustainment items without hindering the movement of the soldier. The pouch features a compartment intended for carrying multiple MREs but alternatively can be used for a different carry load such as water bottles, first aid supplies, communication devices, or a small change of clothing. Smaller item combinations can be filled in the pack such as snacks, maps, and writing tools. Durable, versatile, and lightweight, it is an ideal choice for carrying essential sustainment items during extended military operations.

You can alternatively use this to store magazines in bulk as a storage pouch or as a makeshift dump pouch. It can easily fit to stack more than thirty STANAG thirty-round 5.56 magazines, stacked on their side.
