Swiss WW2 Era Shelter Pole Kit
Everything you need and nothing else. Shrimple as.
A rugged canvas bag that houses 3 poles and 3 stakes.
The poles are meant to be used as follow:
Firstly, stick pole in the ground. Put the gromet of the leading edge of your Plash Palatka above this pole, then push the second pole through it and lift the leading edge up by the grommet.
Next, use your 3 stakes to stake down the other grommets.
Take your final stake, tie a piece of cord around it (under the beveled head) and tie this to the first two poles just under the Plash grommet.
Now take your final stake a few feet out from your shelter, this should raise the front up and ensure it won’t slump over.
Now you’ve got the famous Zeltbahn shelter set up! This shape and set up has been used since the Napoleonic Wars!
