Romanian Reverse "Dong" Lower Handguard
The Romanian AKM, known as the “PM md. 63” and later the “PM md. 65” was a derivative of the Soviet AKM - but with one major difference. It had a forward grip. This grip is known affectionately as a “dong” grip - yes really. This grip was added to the PM md. 63 in order to give more control when firing in fully automatic. These grips are an excellent addition to any AK rifle and for our Canadian customers, it is possible to fit them to a Type 81 with some work. They will NOT fit a Type 81 without modification, they are slightly undersized and will require shimming/filling a roughly 1.5” gap to make them fit.
These grips are in fair to very good condition. They will be selected at random when sent.
