The G3 (Gewehr 3), the iconic battle rifle developed by Heckler & Koch in the 50s, is a rifle we would love to say we are offering a cleaning kit for, but sadly, as we are cursed to be Canadian gun owners, we are not able to access. As many may know, the G3 rifle is a service rifle of the German armed forces that was used well up till the 90s and is still seen across the world from Pakistan to Qatar. What you may be wondering is, why sell a cleaning kit for a rifle that Canadians cannot get their hands on, and that’s a valid question. The thing is, what this kit really is, is a universal cleaning kit for .30cal rifles, perfect for a portable setup, be it an innawoods pack item, or a bugout bag essential. The possibilities with this kit are truly endless, as this will work for any 7.62 rifle, our with any other rifle if you swap out a couple of components.

• Whether or not you like all the bits and bobs in this kit, the case is modular enough that you can pick and choose what items to remove and replace to insure the best portable rifle maintenance possible.

• Due to its small size, you can fit this in field jacket pockets, or even the smallest pouches. I carry one with me whenever I’m doing overnights in the bush, just to keep everything clean, oiled and in working order.
