The BGS was formed to protect the borders of the newly formed West Germany. They were essentially the Federal Border Guards and would routinely scout border regions as well as deploy to the Berlin border.
These caps were a part of the green field uniform. They are nearly identical to their Second World War counterparts. So they’re comfortable AND stylish.
Some of these are badged, some are not. Badges are mostly incorrect and are actually West German ARMY badges. Easily removed.
These caps will NOT be restocked, we grabbed every single one we could find.
