USGI Woodland Buttpack
What if the M1956 was upgraded to modern standards?
Enter the M81 Woodland “training buttpack”. There is little information available for these buttpacks, but from what we can discern, they were trialed as a training tool, but were never issued en mass due to the MOLLE 2 system being adopted and ALICE being left in the past.
The packs themselves are used, but in very good condition with lots of life left. They are a fantastic tools for carrying rations, your woobie, tools, layers and more. Honestly, for “patrols” you can give yourself a lot more room in your assault pack by putting a few items in your buttpack.
These packs feature:
2 buckle closure
Straps to cinch down the bag
External straps can be used to attach other items to the pack suck as a poncho
Internal waterproof cinch
Grommet on the bottom for water to escape
2 Alice clips for belt attachments (will also attach to MOLLE)
