The USGI SPECS (Special Protective Eyewear, Cylindrical System Spectacle) are our latest wicked and impressively priced ballistic eyewear. These glasses have the cool factor of Pit Vipers, hold up against damage and the elements like nothing else in their category, and will come through when you need them most.

There are two types of lenses available for SPECS: Class 1 (clear) and Class 2 (tinted). The clear lenses are designed for use in low-light conditions, such as at night or in indoor environments. They provide excellent clarity and visibility, allowing soldiers to see clearly without any distortion or color shift.

Both types of lenses come with extra earpieces and a neckband, which can be attached to the glasses for added stability and comfort. The alternative earpieces are designed to fit securely over the user's ears, while the neckband helps to keep the SPECS in place, even during strenuous activity.

Features

• The tinted version of SPECS also provide excellent protection from UV radiation. The lenses are rated to block 99.9% of UV-A and UV-B rays, which can cause long-term eye damage.. This makes the glasses ideal for use in sunny or high-altitude environments, where UV radiation is more intense.

• The lenses are tested to meet the MIL-PRF-31013 standard, which requires them to withstand a 0.15 caliber projectile traveling at 640 to 660 feet per second. 

• The glasses feature a soft, adjustable nose piece that conforms to the wearer's face for additional comfort.
