USGI Modular Operational Ration Enhancement (MORE) Pack
An Army Snack Pack - to the tune of roughly 1200 calories :DDD
The US military recognized the need for extra calories for soldiers in harsh environments such as high altitudes, cold weather and hot weather. To match these needs, the MORE is issued as a supplement to the rations of a soldier. These are meant to be eaten as well as the regular rations and are small, light and very calorie dense. Although it varies slightly, you’ll generally get a tad under 1200 calories per pack, making these an excellent item for an emergency kit, bug out bag or just an extra meal while hiking.
These are not seen often in the USA, much less Canada. We are unsure of any future restocks.
