Only 1 left in stock

This Level 5 cold-weather jacket comes from the U.S. Army’s Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS). It’s designed to be wind- and water-resistant, making it a great outer layer over warmer pieces like the Level 3 fleece or the Level 2 grid-fleece top. It zips up fully and has a hood that tucks neatly into the collar when you don’t need it. You’ll also find pit zips under the sleeves for extra breathability. Overall, it’s a lightweight, ready-to-wear jacket that handles cold, windy days really well.

Features:

  • Water Resistant – It can be exposed to water for a short period of time without being damaged or saturated with water. Generally not recommended to submerge Water Resistant items unless item is made for that level of exposure.

  • Two Way Zipper – Zipper includes two pulls allowing the user to open and close the zipper at different areas.

  • Stow Away Hood – There is a stow away hood in the jackets collar for inclement weather.

  • Shoulder Pockets – Includes pockets on the shoulder for small items.

  • Part Of ECWCS – This is part of the US Army Extended Cold Weather Clothing System that is used to protect the wearer from cold to extreme cold weather situations and environments. The system consists of 7 levels of clothing and various accessories that can be worn in multiple configurations. When worn properly in appropriate conditions the system is designed to keep Soldiers warm in temperatures from +40 degrees to -50 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Chest Pockets – Has pockets on the front of the chest.

  • Waist Drawstring – These pants have a drawstring that allows the wear to adjust the waist to the perfect size.

  • Scorpion Camouflage, OCP – When Multicam was adopted as the replacement for UCP during deployment operations it was also considered for Army wide adoption for uniforms and gear. Licensing fees for the Multicam pattern were deemed to high and the US Army took to the predecessor, Scorpion OCP. Scorpion OCP had been developed alongside Multicam and shares most of the same design. Side by side Multicam and Scorpion look much the same, with differences being subtle. The base color of Scorpion is green, compared to brown in Multicam and the shading of all colors was changed slightly. Scorpion also has no vertical elements in the camo. Scorpion is currently referred to as OCP, or Operational Camouflage Pattern and is used for US Army Uniforms and most Army gear.

  • Wind Resistant – This is wind resistant which means that it helps break the wind and keep the wearer warmer.

Size XLarge Only.
