Additionally, both the fabric and seams of Zytron 300 have been evaluated for their resistance to blood and viruses, and have passed the ASTM F 1671 test (Standard Test Method for Resistance of Materials Used in Protective Clothing to Penetration by Blood-Borne Pathogens Using Phi-X174 Bacteriophage Penetration as a Test System conducted by ASTM International).
