USAF B-9B Cold Weather Cap

CA$25.00
sold out

These aren’t Ushankas! They’re a different strain broooo!!1!

The B-9B was introduced in the 1960s as the USAF expanded its manned bases in cold areas and modernized their gear. These hats have a faux fur lining, a nylon exterior and a simple button in chin strap. Very comfortable, very warm and.. well the jury is out on stylish, but look in the gallery how cool it looks on a dog!

These hats were originally intended mostly for use at altitude but as we previously mentioned, there is a lot of evidence of these being worn on the ground as utility caps in the cold.

Sizing:

  • Small: 6 3/4 – 7

  • Medium: 7 – 7 1/8

  • Large: 7 1/4 – 7 3/8

  • X-Large: 7 1/2- 7 5/8
    (
XL hat will fit a 7 3/4 head with a little room to spare if worn without anything underneath.)
