They say imitation is the highest form of flattery, and if that’s the case - consider this a loveletter to US kit of the Second World War.
The US Shelter Half is an iconic shaped shelter meant to snugly fit one man, or be able to be buttoned together with a buddy to make a larger shelter. This is an exact copy of the shape - with an addition. A hood! This hood allows you to wear this heavy duty canvas shelter as a poncho in the rain! Simply button up the triangular end pieces inside and drape it over yourself!
These shelters also attempted to steal the M1942 Frogskin pattern made famous by the USMC in the Pacific Theater, but due to how it was printed, it bleeds through on both sides of the reversible pattern. Works well, but not quite 1:1 lol.
It is highly recommended to wash in a waterproofing agent or spray these with one.
