Swiss M83 Alpenflage Field Jacket
Swiss or miss, I bet they never miss huh?
Swiss Alpenflage, properly known as TAZ 83, nicknamed "Vierfrucht-Pyjama" (four-fruit pyjamas) by Swiss soldiers, is just about loved, hated, or otherwise known by every surplus collector in the community. This must-have field jacket is an iconic piece, needed in every Alpenflage enthusiast or entry-level collector’s arsenal. Despite never seeing combat use as is typical of the Swiss, the pattern and this jacket saw widespread use by Albanian/Kosovar KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army) forces in the Kosovo War of 1998-1999. Made to be a universal pattern for the terrain of the Swiss Alps, this piece is perfect for everyday wear, outdoorsman activities, or Swiss/Kosovar impression kits.
