This particular line of pants, contracted for the Swiss Army in the 1970’s and issued till the 90’s makes for a fine pair of pants for both the woods, and a stand out piece for a perfect fit, rather than generic camouflage patterns and wilderness pants. These heavyweight pants are intended to keep you nice and dry in rain or snow, and are literally built to take a beating.


ALPENFLAGE

Swiss Alpenflage, properly known as TAZ 83, nicknamed "Vierfrucht-Pyjama" (four-fruit pyjamas) by Swiss soldiers, it is either loved or hated, by every surplus collector in the community, no in between.

Features

  • XXL Dual pockets on either side with internal dividers perfect for holding magazines

  • Plastic reinforced thigh and knee sections for navigating difficult terrain.

  • One rear pocket to store Toblerone, of course

  • Thigh straps and buttoned columns to adjust for different waist and thicc thigh sizings

  • Internal zippers on front pockets to allow for access to second layer pockets or uh, scratching.

  • Suspenders included to uphold the weight of these heavy duty pants

  • Adjustable ankle portions
