Soviet PPSH-41/RPD Pouch

CA$20.00

What’s old is new again. The PPSH-41 Pouch was reused for RPD drums, what will you use it for? Actually.. don’t tell us lol.

These pouches were originally designed in World War Two to give to Soviet Infantry who were carrying PPSH-41 Submachine guns and needed a way to retain drums on their belt, but after the war ended and the PPSH-41 was relegated to less and less duty, the pouches still remained in production. Thankfully, when the RPD Machine Gun was introduced to service in 1953 it’s “drum magazines” that held the belts fit perfectly! So the pouches remained in production for the service time of the RPD.

Although there may be some of you with a PPSH-41 or RPD, they aren’t generally available in North America. What is however is AK pattern rifles and STANAG using rifles. Enter its new use. This pouch will easily fit an AK (Or Type 81) drum magazine and even fits Magpul D60s!
