Soviet Canvas Combat Belt
Yeah Commies are losers, but we have to admit.. These belts do go hard tho 😎
Every army needs a belt. Its a simple fact. Canvas is a durable material and was easily sourced in the Soviet Union, thus it was selected for their combat belts. Simple, durable and could be expected to perform in a variety of climates in combat.
These belts weren’t just to keep your pants up, but were actually the heart of the Soviet webbing system. Until the soviets started to introduce pouches in their vests and well, even vests for that matter, the Reds ran off of belt kit. A standard loadout on your belt included: Gasmask bag, Canteen, 4 cell AK pouch (which we have plenty of in stock), 2 cell grenade pouch and an MPL-50 E-tool (we have the Romanian clone in stock).
That’s a lot on your belt, if it can handle that under combat conditions, it certainly can handle whatever you throw at it. A fashion accessory or a tool for you in the field, you decide.
Sizing:
The sizing of these belts is simple.
Size 1 fits up to 38” waists
Size 2 fits up to 42” waists
