Russian Ratnik GSSH-01 6M2 Headset

The standard issue active hearing protection for the Russian army. Part of the Ratnik kit, these ear defenders radically increase the effectiveness of the soldier using them. They provide protection to their hearing by reducing sound by 115db but with the twin microphone design, you can still hear your surroundings in surprisingly good detail. The ear cups are very soft and form an excellent seal, even when worn beneath a helmet (which is how it is intended to be worn, although it can be worn without).

Operates off of two AA batteries and weighs only 300 grams.

In addition to all these things, the headband and is adjustable for different head sizes. Truly an excellent piece of gear.

These headsets come straight from the factory in the original packaging and with the certificate/instruction manual. Brand new and unused.

Note: like with all active hearing protection sets - it is recommended to wear “squishies” underneath
