Russian Ratnik 6Sh118 60L (+20l) "Raid" Rucksack

The Ratnik 6Sh118 Rucksack, or fondly known as the “Raid” pack is a 60L backpack used by elements of the Russian forces. It is meant to not only house regular equipment for standard infantry, but also to carry Anti-Tank weapons, fire support devices and extra equipment via it’s many straps and attachment points. At an impressive 60L, you can already fit a lot in the bag itself, but you can also attach its two side pouches and add an extra 10L to each side of the pack with a quick zip. These pouches, like many high end military backpacks, can be zipped together when separate from the backpack into a 20L daypack with its own straps.
This pack is a rugged construction, made with a water resistant material and fitted with an aluminum frame and sturdy padded straps, you could actually take this backpack to it’s limit of 110lbs. The top of the pack can be removed and used as a belt kit/fanny pack and contains several small pockets for your kit. The main pouch sports the main bag as well as a pouch to hold your camelbak at the rear. The pack also includes a bottom zip for removing your sleep gear without disturbing the rest of the contents. As you may be starting to see, this pack has been built with a lot of thought in mind!
There are too many things going on with this pack to list, but it is also important to note that this pack features attachment points on the top and bottom of the pack for sleeping bags, tents, etc. It also can be cinched down on the sides to shrink the profile of the bag.
