The 6B23-1 vest is not the latest and greatest in armour technology. The Russians have been using it throughout their armed services for years. When they invaded Ukraine, it’s what they had and thus, it’s shown up in use by frontline troops, DPR militia, conscripts and the like. These vests do NOT include plates. They do however contain the original Aramid.

This vest is in very good condition. However the kevlar insert for one side does have a large piece of shrapnel embedded in it.
