Rhodesian Selous Scouts Beret

The Selous Scouts were the elite airborne capable special forces of the Rhodesian military. They are known for their swiftness, adaptability and ability to get the job done in grueling conditions with the odds stacked against them. They existed from 1937 until the fall of Rhodesia in 1980. After Rhodesia became Zimbabwe, many former Selous Scouts were recruited into the SADF and would go on to join the notorious Battalion 32.

The badge has been determined to be a reproduction but the beret is authentic.

This beret is in excellent condition though the size has worn out on the inside. If we were to guesstimate, it seems to be roughly a size 55cm.
