There is nothing like being able to stay warm and dry in the field. In the army, its a lot of “hurry up and wait”. Getting there isn’t the problem, but the waiting can be. Its rare that the ground is comfortable, level, dry and warm. Usually its craggy, wet, crooked and the like. That’s where a sitting pad makes all of the difference in the world.
With it’s rugged and lightweight design, the 1/4” closed cell foam ensures your rear end stays comfortable and dry. You’ll quickly be the envy of all of your friends on a camping trip or dog and pony show in the military.
The Misty Mountain Supply Sitting Pad Mk 1 was designed from the ground up for rugged outdoor use. We spared no expense on materials and ensuring we could have full control over quality control by having these made IN CANADA.
So, what does it offer? It features:
1/4” Closed Cell Foam ensures comfort from -40 to +50 with the ability to float and stop mold from forming
Buckles are all high quality ITW Nexus buckles, the NATO standard
Webbing is all 100% US Made and deadstock surplus
M81 Fabric is genuine US Made deadstock surplus (IRR ;) )
Webbing belt is adjustable out to 46” meaning it can be affixed to essentially any gear, bag or person even when loaded with armor and winter gear
