German M34 Firefighter Helmet With Comb (black)
The M34 was a helmet used by the Feuerwehr, Polizei and other units before and during the Second World War by the German 3rd Reich. The earlier models featured a high shine “comb” on top. This helmet does include the comb. They were removed by some units, or sometimes destroyed throughout history.
This helmet is in very good condition and is complete.
This helmet however is a POST WAR production and is alluminum. A sharp eyed customer pointed out that with the stamp inside the rim that it is likely from the 1960s or 1970s from West Germany.
AS WITH ALL OF OUR PRODUCTS, JUST BECAUSE IT HAS SYMBOLS THAT MAY BE UPSETTING TO SOME, DOES NOT MEAN WE ENDORSE ANY SORT OF POLITICAL IDOELOGY. Anyone who assumes that because we sell a historical artifact that we endorse a certain perspective, political viewpoint or hold certain views, is a fool.
