French Army Desert CCE Flak Vest
The French has always prided themselves on well made equipment meant to suit the needs of the individual soldier. In fact, many of their designs for clothing or equipment were copied by other nations in short order due to how good they were.
Seen again here in the simple Flak Vest, perfected by the French. This vest is easily adjustable with buckles and straps on the rear (where they won’t catch), has a pocket up front for a hard plate, a smaller pocket for pens and a notebook and a major issue with many vests, the collar; has been assembled in a way where it can be folded down and out of your way! This is HUGE. So many flak vests are borderline unusable due to the collar interrupting head movement or vision.
This vest does NOT include any inserts or armor. You can absolutely drop in kevlar with it’s simple zipper system, but we do not have any available and these do not include any. Great for building a soft armor set up on the cheap or for a costume or impression.
Adjustable, one size fits most.
