Why retreat when you can hide and lie in wait for the perfect moment?

The French F1 combat helmet camo cover netting is a modern adaptation of the original French Helmet Scrim used during World War II. The helmet cover is made of a synthetic mesh material that is both durable and lightweight, available in a reversible woodland pattern. The cover is designed to blend in with the surrounding environment and breaking up their silhouette, providing additional protection for the soldier by making them less visible to the enemy.

The F1 helmet cover netting is easy to install and remove. The cover is designed to fit snugly over the helmet, with elastic cords and hooks securing it. The cover can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement, making it a versatile piece of equipment for soldiers in the field.

The netting cover doesn’t provide protection against the elements, like your standard cover, nor does it boast a swanky camo pattern. It is a flat green on one side and a flat brown on the other. Instead, the cover breaks up the silhouette of a user, keeping them from being detected and out of harm's way.

Overall, the F1 combat helmet camo cover netting is an important piece of equipment for soldiers in the French military and LARPers alike! With its superior abilities of additional protection and camouflage, it also allows backyard operators and independent professionals to express some flair in their individuality and creativity with this addition to their kit. The F1 helmet cover netting is an example of how modern technology can be used to improve upon a classic design and serves as a testament to the ongoing evolution of military equipment and tactics.

Field Notes/Misty’s Musings/Potential Uses

  • These helmet covers can work a LOT of different helmets. Mr. Misty actually used one very comfortably on his 6b47 helmet. If you can dream it, chances are, you can do it. These things are absolutely covered in little hooks to attach to a helmet rim, so as long as you can get most of them attached with a reasonable purchase surface, it should work.

  • Scrim is based. Helmets are great, they protect your noggin’, but just like they said in Promethius, “God doesn’t build in straight lines”. Seeing a shiny dome in nature is a surefire sign you’re seeing someone’s helmet sticking out. Throwing a scrim on fixes that and adds no appreciable weight to your neck. Just do it.
