East German AKM Bayonets
There are two prominent AKM bayonet types used by East Germany. They are both Type 1 (as they DDR adopted the AK74 to replace their AKM rifles), The Model 59 and the later Model 59/2 which saw the change from a metal scabbard to one made of resin and some other minor changes. The Model 59 is significantly more common.
AKM Bayonets are lots of fun as a knife, but they can also be used in conjunction with the scabbard as a wirecutter! Mr. Misty has actually done some snib snabbing of electrical wires with a set. Make sure you are locked out and isolated beforehand!
All of these bayonets are in fantastic shape and ready for use!
