Dutch Rain Cape
Surp-Eastwood… Sneer…
Styled after the British rain gear of the same name, the Dutch produced a essentially 1:1 copy (just in the 1980s rather than long before). These rain capes feature large buttons on the front for fastening to your liking and even a collar that can be upturned for heavy winds.
Honestly, these things look ridiculously cool and we definitely kept one for ourselves to use.
These rain capes ARE waterproof, but given their age, it wouldn’t hurt to wash in a waterproofing compound just to refresh them a bit.
