Copying the Soviet’s homework
The M53 is simply the Czech copy of the famous Soviet SSH40. They’re nearly 1:1 with just a slightly (but much better) different liner. These helmets are used but in good serviceable condition. These helmets saw use from 1953 onwards into the early 2000s as the Czechs modernized their military with a helmet replacement coming late in the process.
These helmets are used and so some minor defects should be expected. Scratched paint, surface rust, damage to the chin strap etc. Nothing that actually prevents wear, but these have seen some use before being put back into storage.
Helmet covers available with helmets at a discounted price of only $5 !
