Canadian Forces Combat Vehicle Helmet
The Canadian forces has a history of being “a little” behind in terms of armour development for personnel. The new CVC helmet was meant to have them leap into the future, but instead had them land in the present, or maybe even a little in the past. This helmet obviously draws inspiration from the Gentex CVC helmet from the 1990s, but with a modern liner and a proper high cut! This helmet is actually two pieces, the high cut liner can be detached from the ballistic outsert and worn on its own inside a vehicle to save space and give your neck a break. That said, with the mountain system (which consists of two small plastic clips) we recommend you keep it on since the weight difference is small and having kevlar on your head is nice.
Includes bump helmet, up-armor outsert, removable chin guard and CADPAT cover.
