Canadian Forces Combat Scarf
Remember the ABC’s of combat. Always Be Comfy.
Many Canadian Servicemen have fond memories of their issued scarf. It’s lightweight and multi-use. You can use it to make scrim for your helmet, you can use it to add a barrier between your neck and the sun, you can soak it and keep yourself cool, or you can even use it as initially intended - in the cold. In the cold it is used to prevent frost accumulation in your parka hood and as a face covering both while moving or when in your sleeping bag.
Honestly, there are a ton of uses for these badboys and every kit is incomplete without one.
Approximately 6’ x 2’
