British WW2 Lantern Electric Traffic No. 2

from CA$50.00

These lanterns were produced to assist guide columns of vehicles as the allies pressed into France. Roads were demined and marked, but straying off of the path could mean death - so these lamps were installed to give some limited illumination to keep vehicles and troops on safe paths.

They angle downward to give less signature at distance and to the air and have a built in defuser with the patterning of the glass installed.

The lantern have an adjustable clip so they can be worn on the belt or carried in the hand of the user easily if not mounted to a post or vehicle.
