DDPM (Desert Disruptive Pattern Material)
A desert iteration of the classic British camouflage DPM saw its first use in the 80’s at the beginning of the conflicts in the Gulf. This new camouflage, known as DDPM (Desert Disruptive Pattern Material) saw wider adoption as the Global War on Terror kicked off at full swing. This widespread adoption evolved and saw use not only by the British Army, but also by many Middle Eastern countries, from members of the Coalition including Kuwait, the Indonesian National Armed Forces. Even less friendly-to-the-coalition players such as the Syrian Armed forces and even the Iraqi Republican Guard.

Multiple velcro strips on arms and chest, some smocks may include rank, flag and name patches sewn on or attached
