Standard individual first aid kit of the BC Wildfire Service
These kits include the following (± an item or two)
Bag of antiseptic wipes
2 3×4” non-adherent gauze pads
Topical cooling gel
2 packs of 2 cotton sponges
4” compression dressing
“Moleskin”
Gloves (these should be replaced as they are expired and will tear)
Surgical scissors
Triangular bandage
Bio-hazard bag
As these kits are surplus, we recommend using them only as a starting point. They’re a great little pouch that has a loop on the rear to be worn on a belt and some of the contents do not expire and do not need replacing - but we do recommend replacing the expired contents and supplementing with other first aid supplies.
Bag may have signs of wear including some have been purposefully defaced by the BCWS to have their title covered by sharpie.
