A tough fought battle in which the Canadian Army, along with the French Army ran through a ridiculous amount of no-man’s land, bashed through obstacles with the butts of their rifles and then completely overwhelmed the German line. They took heavy casualties, inflicted heavy casualties and earned a fearsome reputation that day.
