Adder "Brushstroke" Pants
After the fall of Rhodesia, although Rhodesian examples were available, the demand was high in South Africa and around the world. This led to the commercial company “Adder” attempting to reproduce it (only somewhat successfully). The Adder clothing line is noted for having similar shapes to Rhodesian Brushstroke but with an incorrect scale, some wrong shapes and the wrong colours entirely.
However, as an interesting commercial piece that has faded into obscurity for the most part - it is still revered by some collectors as essentially the first reproduction attempt of RBS (Rhodesian Brushstroke). These pants have a different cut than original RBS pants, but that’s not a bad thing if you plan to actually wear these. They feature two “jean” pockets at the front, two cargo pockets and two rear pockets.
